Šibenik

Coming to Vodice without having visited Šibenik is as if you have not been to Dalmatia. This first native Croatian royal town which is located only 10 kilometers from the town, is becoming increasingly popular and attractive tourist destination in this part of Adriatic. In addition to well-known Šibenik's cathedral of St. James, which is protected by UNESCO , we recommend that you visit at least one of four fortresses in Šibenik. Take a walk through the narrow cobbled streets, old town, try some of the local specialties on the waterfront or in the old city in taverns which are every year more and more found in the gastronomic offer of the city. Be sure to visit the city museum, which is located next to the cathedral, where there are many hidden treasures and stories of this region. A walk along Šibenik certainly will not soon disappear from your memory.
